How to Link a Device to the Air Ambient
The Air Ambient can be set up to react to many different inputs, allowing the device to turn on cooling or heating based on just about anything.
The Air Ambient can only do this by setting up Functions linking a Trigger to an Action. The Action can be turning Cooling on/off, turning heating on/off, or by turning the controlled unit off. The Trigger will be set up under the Functions page of the Eniscope.
From this page, you can then setup Triggers based on any Air Products associated to this Eniscope. At this time, Functions cannot use Air Products associated on other Eniscopes.
Once in the Function page, will need to set up a Trigger to look at the 'Registry' for the desired Device. Selecting 'Create Trigger' will bring up a new Trigger entry.
Selecting the Device & the target Registry from the dropdowns will provide the Link to monitor the chosen device for the specific value. For example:
This will Link an Air Sense to have its Temperature Monitored.
This example Links an Air Switch to have the Current Draw of its connected device monitored.
Once you have the proper Device selected as well as the values to monitor, you can further setup the Trigger to react based on a certain threshold, such as 'Greater than 24 degrees C' or 'Less than 10 amps'.
